Our Beaded Cameroon Shield in black and white is a great way to add character to any wall space. This shield showcase a cowrie center and edging. They are hand carved from one piece of wood by the Tikar tribe of Cameroon making each shield unique. The shields are adorned with a combination of glass beads, cowrie shells and manilla string.
Traditionally these shields were used as defensive weapons, decor or, ritual objects which symbolizes status and wealth.
No matter what your design or color preference, these artisanal pieces are without a doubt conversation points in any space. Due to the nature of handmade, no two are the same. Comes ready to be hung.
